Thank you so much for the good service that we received from your staff.
The group enjoyed the place, the ambience, coz it's our first time to be there. I went to the old River Canyon many years ago when they used to be opposite the Riverside theatre.
 They also enjoyed the food - the chilli mussels, the barramundi was delicious, the desserts are excellent. The tiramisu is just right not too sweet compared to some that I have tasted
 We ended up not staying back for the disco coz some people would like to go home. Though I think 5 people stayed on.
Anyway, it was an enjoyable evening. Thanks again to you and your staff. Till next time. Cheers! Priscilla

From start to finish the night was very well organised. The setting was lovely; staff were very professional, efficient, and helpful;
Food was very nice, served with perfect timing and drinks were always refilled.

We were very happy with our night and everyone had a good time.
The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. Entertainment and music were also very good.
The food was good, just a few minor complaints but with a large group you can’t please everyone.
One person did not like the fish and some thought the chicken salad was too salty.
Overall no real complaints. Thank you for making our Christmas function an enjoyable night.

My daughter's first birthday party was a success thanks to you and Monica's professionalism.  All the staff and chefs very very co-operative and friendly.
My two hundred twenty guests enjoyed the venue and service.  The food tasted good and the presentation was also good.

What can we say? You've guys have done a fantastic job and all our guests enjoyed the venue & entertainment
due to tickets being sold out, we gave up our seats to our guests 
we have gathered that the food served was not only sumptuous & but excellent. 
We also went around each table to get feedback from our guests and only got positve response. Everyone had a great time.
Congratulations to the excellent service. Thank you very much for looking after us.

Hiya the party was a great success and everyone had a fabulous time.  I had comments from my friends all evening about how good everything was and how much of a great time they were having.
Everyone had such a great time and were saying that it was the best engagement party that they had been too in a very long time!
The upper area that was reserved for us was set up and decorated beautifully!  It looked amazing when we walked in and all my guests thought it was lovely.
The brazillian show was excellent but I wished that it went longer!!  My guests thought that it was fantastic and everyone had a ball
- especially since they got to participate in the dancing competition.  The band was also very good and the DJ was even better!! 
He played  music that we all liked and ended up staying and dancing until just after midnight!
 The food was plentiful and very nice.  Your kitchen and wait staff were very attentitive - as soon as they saw that a particular dish was almost gone they were bringing out more
I'd just like to say a big thank you to yourself and the staff of your restaurant for being so helpful and making the night something for us to remember.

We had a great time my friends love it the price is reasonable and worth it for the buffet and entertainment was great the guys love the Brazilian dancers.

A wonderful night was had by all that attended the farewell function held at your restaurant. The polynesian dancers was the highlight of the evening for everyone.

Thanks for  a great night. I think my guests enjoyed. It is also good that there are places like yours that caters for kids as well,
or else the parents would have not stayed up late if they're not with the kids.
The food is good and the array of food was colourful, and would look really appetising, with more light.
I think some people just get each of everything because they don't know what they are
Overall, it was fantastic. I certainly would recommend it to my friends and hope to go back

We all had a wonderful night. In particular we loved the variety of foods that you had to choose from. The meal was delicious.
A couple of people mentioned they would have liked a wider selection of desserts but other than that the meals were fantastic.
Very fresh! The service was also of a very high standard. We had a girl that was looking after the drinks for our table.
She was very helpful and the service was very quick and professional. I think her name was Natalia (or something similar) She was great.
We really enjoyed the entertainment. The music was great and the brazilian show was an added bit of fun for the night.
Great night had by all and we will definitely be coming back.....

Hi There, We thought the dinner was good; some of the desserts were beautiful.  By the way, does this buffet menu change from time to time or is it set throughout?
We all thought the band (Romy Bros?) was great – perfect for that atmosphere.  I seriously would like to see them perform again in the near future. 
The samba & salsa show was ok…we felt their energy & was entertaining.
Although most of us have dined there before, we had forgotten what an exceptional set up of all the entertainment facilities you have in there for patrons, thank you. 
We would have much preferred if the after dinner DJ music in particular was played free of other entertainment forms to be more inviting for people to be able to dance and enjoy into the latter part of the night. 
We feel most people would then end up staying longer!!  Alternatively, have you also considered having that sensational band play the after-dinner spot and have the DJ music with video clips or whatever beforehand? 
Only a suggestion and our genuine thoughts.
On a final note, your staff and service was professional and good – thank you for your assistance and interest in our feedback. 
Feel free to drop a line to inform of any other special events or simply other upcoming specials….I’m sure they’d be all on the restaurant’s website anyway.

Dinner was fantastic, it was great value and variety. The 21st Birthday girl was very happy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
We will definitely be back and are already planning another group booking with our friends.
The live music was very good, but I would keep it a little bit softer, Bur overall, it was fantastic, the food was amazing and very fresh!!!
I have also suggested River Canyon for our work x’mas lunch/dinner.

We had a good time last Friday for the birthday function, The food selection was good.
We were expecting to hear the band but the video was good enough.
The dance music was a bit disappointing because being a "salsa night"
we were expecting the DJ to play some salsa music.
But when I asked him he said he didn't have any :(  He only played disco music.
A friend is interested in holding his 60th bday party over there and we made some enquiries to the lady-in-charge that night.
We are planning to have approx 130 guests only
The party is tentatively scheduled for the 2nd of Jan next year.

The only suggestion after the show we thought we could continue with the meal a bit more but it was cleared off.  However, the deserts were great for the substitute.

hey the show was great for the price and the dance floor was fantastic to get up and boogie your big dinner off.
Plenty of nice food, economical, good for work parties, interactive, something for everyone, relaxed atmosphere, good band.
Friday night was great, all 8 of us thoroughly had a good time and the food was good.

Hi there, My husband and I are pleased. 
Entertainment isnt as it was in your website. There wasnt any band at all. Belly dancing is more a sexy dancing (unless it is belly dancing in Brazil).
Brazilian Night isnt bad but a presentation time seem short 
 Ambiance is good and suits family with young kids. Parents can disco dance and enjoy without the hassles of drunks like in other clubs.
By the way, maybe it will be good to move the buffet table on the left side (same area as the desserts.
People taking food block the guests seated at the riveside from watching the presentation. 
I wont mind recommending the place to parents going out with their kids 
 Will be great to increase stage presentations like bands and singers (not necessarily by famous ones).
Would not mind coming back with friends again.

Hi, the 21st Celebration turned into a wonderful night. The restaurant is beautiful. The setting was lovely & elegant. THE FOOD WAS FRESH AND DELICIOUS.
The shows were entertaining. All my guests had all praise to say. They enjoyed themselves. The waitress was so helpful and attended to everyone.
The bar staff were nice & friendly. It was so lovely to be able to have our children there with us. It just appeals to everyone, all ages.
I have emailed this to some of my friends, The men in our group really seemed to enjoy the 1st show.
Really wonderful...hoping to come back in two weeks with some girlfriends. Thank you Lorraine

We had a lovely time on Saturday night. The entertainment was great & food was fantastic.
The only complaint i have was that the music was a bit loud when we were eating.

As for feedback from us and our whole 170 odd people. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
I was very shocked at the setting and professionalism. I didnt think you would overboard. We both were very happy and words cant't describe how happy we were.
 Food----Although I didnt get to eat properly as most of my time was spent entertaining everyone, what I had was very yummy and food set up looked great
Bar/staff---unbelievably helpful, smiles all round, gorgeous looking staff
 DJ---Was the best and played all the right music. He was very cute as well
Band--You may want to reconsider as it depends on what crowd is there on the night.
Entertainers----best part of the night. They were colorful and very entertaining. Dont ever change them.
(Narween and I are still getting teased about getting up on stage but I had a blast)
Venue--clean well presented, no complains.
And finally prompt service and good prices. Keep smiling!

Hi Guys, Thank your staff for a wonderful afternoon at River Canyon last week.  Everyone had a great time and positive things to say. 
Good food, lots to eat and wide variety were winning points.
There were a couple of criticisms which were:
The drink service was slow at the begining. After the initial rush there was no problem again.
Everyone had a great time.  Some really let their hair down which was good to see. 
You allowed our group to stay well over the usual lunch time and your staff were all friendly and helpful.

I have had a busy theatre week. The food was good, and the entertainment was fantastic. The group particularly enjoyed the salsa dancers.

We all had a wonderful time
The back ground music was just enough so we could talk to each other as our partners had
never met before, The food was great and a good selection for all peoples tastes
We paid for our drinks at the bar which made that part of it easy as most people didn’t drink alcohol
The only problem we had was paying at the end for our food
I was told you don’t split bills which would make it difficult seeing some people wanted to pay by credit card
eftpos or cash if we had of known before hand we could of arranged ourselves around this
As I said before we all enjoyed the day

Saturday night was the first time we had visited the River Canyon. I must say that everyone had a very enjoyable night.
The service was good, the food was nice, the entertainment was great, the atmosphere was good and the value for money was very good.
All in all we had a great night and would definitely visit the restaurant again.
The booking facility with direct deposit and follow up e-mails worked very well and was very professional.

Overall our party had an great time, the food was excellent, the staff very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
Feedback from my colleagues was very good, just a few little pointers and please don't take this as a complaint,
but 1 or 2 said the 1st show could have been a little shorter as by this time we were wanting to have a dance and time was ticking on! and maybe one show would have been enough.
We chose your venue because it offered dancing and we asked the DJ to put some more up to date top 40 music on,
as I said a good time was had by all and maybe consider for future, although we might not be in our 20's we still like to dance it up to the recent stuff.

Thank you for a wonderful night. My colleagues really enjoyed the dinner and shows. The variety of food was excellent and the service was exceptional.
The band was fantastic and the shows were beautiful.

The 70's and 80's music was easy to dance and sing to. Thanks so much for a wonderful night.  Only suggestion is that the 2 shows be closer together in time.

Dinner was great. Everyone commented on the lovely food.  The drinks waitress was always on hand and very helpful, as was her superior (did not get her name). 
The bar staff were also happy and helpful all night.
The shows were good fun, and the DJ played great dancing music.  The music screens were good though.

Our team had a great night and ended up staying for the disco dancing!  I felt the staff were very helpful and even took drink orders from our table
for those that didn't quite make it up to the bar.   We added one more at the last minute who ended up not being able to make it in the end so sorry about that.

We had a great night last night!! It was just perfect! The staff were lovely, and coped brilliantly when lots of our guests were running late.
The food was delicious. Everyone was happy and it was everything that I had hoped for my daughter's 21st birthday to be special.
I told lots of Jenna's friends about the Friday and Saturday nights that you have and referred them to your website.
They all seemed impressed and keen, and I can assure you that they are the kind of patrons that you would like to have and not have to kick out.

Hi Christy, my wife and i thought the buffet was excellent, a wide variety of food. We filled up our plates then realized there was soup so we had to go back for soup.
The pumpkin soup was the best i have ever had!!   Then desert i tried the custard and my wife had the pistacho icecream, bothwere very well presented and delicious.
The video clips were entaining and show was great, we did do some dancing before heading off home.

My daughter and her friends had a great time at River Canyon. Some of her friends are thinking of having their parties there too. I have recommended it to some friends as well.
There are not many places you can take young teenage girls to have a dance in a family environment, so your restaurant was perfect.
We were happy with the food and entertainment.
My only suggestion is that some of the staff did not know about having to cut the cake before the show or paying for the bill earlier in the night, so we had to pay at the end of the night.

I was meaning to email you about how pleased we were with everything. I am so glad I found your restaurant in time.
I couldnt have asked for anything better and worth what we paid for.
The restaurant setting and dim lighting was GREAT! Everyone enjoyed the food provided in the buffet.
The entertainment was funny and it was lovely to be able to have our little boys stay with us untill the end. Everyone also enjoyed the opportunity to have a dance afterwards.
The waitress for our table was also very very helpful and provided excellent service so please thank her for me.
Thank you for everything. My mum had such a wonderful time and so did all our guests. We also appreciate where we were seated So thank you so much for that.

Hi Monica, What can I say we had a wonderful time. The food was nice our waiter (sorry I don't know his name) was excellent.
He was very friendly and nothing was to much trouble for him. As it was for Christopher's 18th he and all his friends had a wonderful time.
The show was very entertaining and the disco was a great way to finish the night.

and they would like to continue going there.  There are not a lot of places for young adults to have a nightclub experience and it has made them feel really special and i thank you for that.

Hello, I was actually planning on writing to you in regards to our night. We all had a really enjoyable time!! The food was nice , with good variety .
Admittedly some people missed the bread ,soups and chips on the far table ... perhaps bread baskets and butter could be provided on each table ... the bread was particulary lovely!! 
The service was brilliant and very attentive!! The bar staff were nice and there was fairly quick service.
We especially enjoyed the DJ music afterwards and thought it was great that the DJ willingly played our suggestions ....the fan on the dance floor is a great element!!
Overall, a really fun night and good service. We will seriously consider returning in the near future ... and reccomend it to our friends also, Thank you, Carly

We all had a fabulous night thank you!
There was plenty of food and a great variety of dishes. We enjoyed your bellydancer & the girls & I had a fab time performing.
One of the dances we had to perform on the dance floor as we needed the extra space & it was a bit dark but that is the only thing I could consider complaining about.
Then after desert we got the rest of the diners up dancing so it was lots of fun :)
Your staff were very accommodating, they squeezed in a few more places at our table when we had about 3 extra's turn up.
If it is possible to hold a bellydance social down the track on a Friday or Saturday evening or even Saturday or Sunday lunch please let me know as the
Sunday evening mean't we didn't have the numbers we normally would. Debbie

Hi David, We had good fun last night. My workmates expressed the same thing, they all had fun. We enjoyed the show.
We particularly liked the big area alloted for dancing, there is enough space for everyone who wanted to dance.

Just a quick note to give you some feedback from experience last night.
I’m please to say that we found food was fresh, exceptional & good value for money. My wife had the “Seafood Platter” & I had the “Surf & Turf”.
We were also very please with the service & the time it took to serve our meals. Also the Belly dance show was an added bonus.
This is the second time we have visited your restaurant & have been happily surprised both times. The first visit was with 16 people for my daughter 21st birthday.
I’m happy to say that I think we have found a restaurant that we can recommend to family & friends & I’m sure that you will see us again in the not too distant future.

Hi David, Your Restaurant was excellent, I can not fault the service that we received, the staff were very helpful.
It would have been nice to have more contact with the stage, as sitting at the back you really can not see the show to clearly.....but, then you miss out on the views.
It would also be nice for the show to include the people at the back tables as well as the front tables as participants.
Otherwise I really loved the food, service and the cost of the night is reasonably priced.  Hopefully, I will see you again in the near future.
As we do not go out much.....which hopefully this will change.  I would recommend it to others

We had a great time, the entertainment was fantastic and atmosphere electric.
Asked around and the agreement was the food could be better for the price, was more like going to a bowling club for dinner.
However in saying this the food wasn't bad we just expected a higher standard. thankyou for a good night

Hi David, Just to let you know, we thoroughly enjoyed our night at your restaurant on Friday 19th.
I have had everyone comment that it was one of the best Xmas party nights we had ever had!  Everyone was impressed and had fun.
So a big Thank you to River Canyon restaurant and all the staff for a fantastic night! We will probably come again next year.
Do the shows change from year to year?
The 70’s, 80’s and 90’s DJ music for dancing was great but could have gone a little longer before the young stuff kicked in ( We all wanted to dance a little longer)

I would just like to say how much my wife and I enjoyed our visit to your Restaurant today for lunch, the food was excellent,
the staff were very helpful and although we did have a discount voucher, it would have been really worth the full price.
If it hadn't been for the special offer, we wouldn't have known about you, as we live on the Central Coast.

I was planning to send you an email this morning, but I slept-in, most of us probably.
We did have an enjoyable, exciting, fun evening. Everyone (34 of us) was impressed with the venue, buffet-dinner menu, the entertainment and the courteous  staff.
Jane had a wonderful time. She was very happy, especially when the video pictures went on display and she was was called to be part of
the audience participation with 2 of her South African friends.
They are suggesting, that if we have any social event, to choose your restaurant again. Definitely, I will recommend to my friends.

HI We had a fantastic time on Saturday night. I have been very impressed with from the start with the friendly, efficient and easy going service you have given me in while organising my function.
Then the staff on the night were so fabulous too. We all had such fun, especially the kids! Many of my guests told me that they loved it.
Even my father, who is very hard to please, said he had a great time and was very impressed with the place!
The show was a big hit. Your MC is such a great character! And, WOW your beautiful dancers were a knock out! We enjoyed our meal also.
I must compliment your staff. They were always friendly, helpful and did not worry too much when the kids ran past them or were loudly laughing.
They have a great attitude towards the service they are providing. Please pass on my compliments to them all.
Lastly, I have never had such a big party, just for me, before and I had a good idea of what I wanted; the night surpassed my dreams!
It was perfect - a great combination of food, fun & dancing! The best way to celebrate my 'half century'!

We were very indecisive at the beginning as to which night to come because I always wanna see Hawaii dance and the Brazilian dance seems to be more attractive to guys.
As I decided to spoil my boyfriend just once we had a fantastic night! The Brazilian show is fabulous and we absolutely love the host!
He is cute, funny and multi-talented though we failed to remember his name...

Hi David We had a great time thankyou. The food was lovely (loved the fish in the white sauce) and the mashed potato was yum.
You don’t get that usually. Desserts so yum! Your staff were absolutely wonderful. For so few to the amount of people they handled it beautifully.
Loved the music and show.
Not often do you get a lot of songs played from all eras. It was nice to be able to sing along.
We are definitely planning to come again and hopefully catch the Polynesian or Hawiian?? Show.

Even though we had vouchers but it didn’t make any difference to the service we receive.
Unlike other places when you mentioned vouchers they give you the second class feeling…but your service was excellent.

The overall night was great we really enjoyed the show and how you can become a part of it.
The DJ was playing great music. We did feel a bit squishy when sitting down eating our meals and trying to get out of our chairs was difficult.
At one stage they ran out of Coronas that we were drinking but managed to source some more.
We had a great hostess on the night. Please pass on our thanks.

Hi Dave,
Thank you for organising our booking last week.  We had a fantastic time last Saturday 6 August.
The food was absolutely plentiful, a great diverse selection and everyone commented on the variety and taste.  We all had seconds and thirds….
The Polynesian show was just awesome!!!.  We all enjoyed the performance and the laughs, and were sad when it came to an end. 
It was a lot of fun. The after show dancing was great as well, a good mix of music.
I guess our only other constructive comment was that the ‘pre-show’ music during dinner was a bit loud where we were sitting,
and it was hard to talk to others on the table at times.  Other than that, everything else was excellent so we’ll be back and all of us will recommend your venue

We especially loved the music playing all the time, it added to the atmosphere.  We were thrilled that there were 2 shows and some of our group participated in each show. 
I have booked our social club Christmas Party for 3rd December and have told the club what a good night it is. Thanks Pat

I must said that we did have a great time,  the staff was  obliging and the food was abundant, my partner who love music particularly enjoy the ambient music.

We had a great night last Friday. The food was really nice and the entertainment was fun. It was like a big party!
My work has booked to come to the River Canyon soon, so I am encouraging lots of people to go on that night and we were telling
our friend that we had a great night and it looks like we'll be booking again soon and bringing our friends with us.

My friends and I had a good time and we all enjoyed the show. I really liked the salad options on the menu and dessert.
The only issue was parking. I called the restaurant ealier to ask if there was parking on site and I was told that there was parking in the basement however I couldn't find any allocated parking
Otherwise we had a great night and absolutely loved the Brazilian act! Thank you and your staff for the experience.

The dinner was good my friends and i had heaps of fun though we did wish the entertainment went for a tad longer

We found the night a success..... the food was plentiful with great variety, the staff friendly and helpful and to finish the night off, the entertainment was special .
i would have no hesitation in recommending River Canyon to friends and family for a fun filled evening, thanks again see you soon.

Thanks so much... we had a great night!  everyone seemed to enjoy the night immensely and they were busy eating away. 
The dancing girls were gorgeous and the MC was great - his fire show section was incredible!
The kids were mesmerised. It was fitting for all ages.  My son ate far too much dessert and vomited through the night... his eyes are too big for his stomach!
the music was fab and the ‘Nutbush’ and ‘Bus Stop’ had the dance floor packed and jumping!!
Oh... and thanks for putting my name up on the screen ... that was a surprise. If I’d have known I would’ve given you my twin sister’s name,
and it was my mother-in-law’s birthday that day too.  Oh well... I felt special
I’d love to come back there to experience the other shows you have there. Thanks again!

We all had such a great night and I have been in contact with those who came and all week we haven't stopped talking about how much fun we had!
Although myself and my partner were the two to be in the spotlight on stage haha. It actually bought us closer by being intimidated together haha.
Absolutely fantastic DJ also! Great mix of music and we loved that the video clips are shown also. We didn't want the night to end!
Thank you so much for a fantastic evening! I have recommended to others that they have to go to River Canyon! Great value also.

We had a fantastic night. When we arrived we were able to get carparking directly under the restaurant – that’s a real bonus. The staff were extremely nice
from the bar staff to the wait staff. There was a good variety of food and it tasted great. The DJ played awesome music and he also took requests.
The show was a lot of fun with great audience participation. Thank you for making my 40th birthday a very special occasion.

I was at River Canyon on Ftiday ans both my husband and I had a great time. The entertainment was amazing.

Friday night was awesome & so much fun was had by everyone. The food was delicious and the performers were very entertaining.
All of the staff were professional and friendly and Monica looked after our every needs with a smile :-)

We are very happy we chose the river canyon to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary function, we all had a wonderful time.
Our waitress was great and very attentive to our table. The food was also fantastic and always replenished which is great for buffets.
The show was loved by all my guests and was extremely entertaining.
Thank you for a wonderful evening. I will be recommending the river canyon to friends and family in the future.

It went very well on Friday night and we were very please with great service offered by your staffs in particular by Joanna.
I took friends there for their first time and they had a great time and enjoyed the lovely and fun atmosphere. Variety of foods to choose from.
The perfomers were superior, encouraged audiences participantion and cheer everyone up with his humour talks.
As I mentioned before that I had my wife's birthday there last time. So this was the 2nd time and no doubt we will come back again.
Keep up the good work and please pass my thanks to your staffs especially Joanna. She has a great memory that remember us been there last time.
She has a great smiles on her face all the times which made us feel so relax after a long day at work.

We all had a great night. The food was good, a great variety and all hot on the plate.
We are looking at coming back with our full staff for our Christmas function, just not sure that we can get in looking at the availability on the website.

We had a great night. The food was great and we loved the music. We were glad most of it wasn't 80s. We would have preferred brazillian over Polynesian.
But we needed to book on sat night, the crowd participation was good. we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back again, Jocelyn

Had a really lovely lunch.  Beautiful peaceful surroundings and the food was top class.
Although we came in on a voucher lunch, we were treated no different to a full paying customer. 
Also, the waitress was very polite and attentive.
